I’m in Clearwater, Florida, learning from the best in the industry & soaking up the sun. ☀️ This is what happened in my business back at home:

✨ We booked a bunch of initial cleanings for the next two weeks (and for today)
✨ We secured a few new recurring clients
✨ We onboarded a new Cleaning Technician
✨ We sent invoices and collected money so that we can get paiiiiidddd
✨ We paid our crew on time and as usual this morning
✨ We got two new five-star Google reviews
✨ We completed all of the other day-to-day tasks that we needed
✨ We cleaned 35 homes and commercial spaces in two days

This happened because we’ve got the most amazing team busting their butts back at home for us.

Our Operations Director Ashlee onboarded a new employee, sent invoices, collected payments, updated data, prepped for next week, and filled schedule gaps. Our Growth Coordinator Sofia took calls, closed sales, handled correspondence, followed up with leads and clients, and dealt with our crazy schedule. Our incredible cleaning technicians (they know who they are) showed up with their amazing attitudes and threw a whole lot of sparkle around our communities. 🧽✨

This is what’s possible when you start a business. And it’s only the beginning for us. Because Laura and I will never stop dreaming big, and we hope that our incredible crew will grow with us - because so much more is coming, for us and for them. 🩷🤩

I love vision boards, not just because they’re fun (although a night with my girls, snacks, laughs, and creativity will always be a yes 🥹✨), but because visualization actually works.

There’s real science behind it, ya know. When we visualize something consistently, our brain starts treating it as familiar and achievable. It activates the same neural pathways as actually doing the thing — which helps with motivation, confidence, and decision-making. You start noticing opportunities you would’ve otherwise ignored. You move differently. You believe differently.

For me, a vision board isn’t about wishing. It’s about clarity. It’s about getting specific with what I want my life to feel like — how I want to show up, what I want to build, who I want beside me, and how I want to care for myself along the way.

It’s creative. It’s intentional. It’s a little woo-woo, a little science, and a lot of belief and faith. And honestly? It’s one of my favorite ways to remind myself that the future I want isn’t random — it’s something I’m actively creating! 💫🩷

After a 2024 that nearly broke me — losing my two fur babies and being tested in ways I never expected — I chose a word that felt heavy and hopeful all at once. ASCEND. Rise anyway. Keep going!

And this year? I did exactly that.

✨ I got my sweet puppy Maple 🐶
✨ I bought a new car 🚗
✨ I traveled a TON ✈️
✨ We moved into our beautiful new office 🏢
✨ We hired a full-time Growth Coordinator who is absolutely slaying sales and everything else she does
✨ I started to set boundaries (real ones)
✨ I learned to not give so many fucks (the most freeing lesson of all)
✨ I moved through hard moments instead of around them

This year wasn’t just about wins — it was about growth, resilience, and learning.

It’s NOVEMBER [& in typical Holly fashion, I’m sharing this 4 days late 😅]

October flew & it was one heck of a month!

🎃 I brought home my leachianus gecko, Cypress.
👻 I paused to mourn one year since my baby Sage crossed the rainbow bridge. I miss her so much.
🎃 I threw my annual Halloween party, which reminded me how much my life has changed as I had to keep it family only due to so many children being here now! [already shared those photos]
👻 I had a few fun video-game nights, one being my annual soup-and-Luigi’s-Mansion-night with Laura!
🎃 I went out east for pumpkin picking and more fun fall activities with my fav humans. [already shared those photos]
👻 I hosted our annual pumpkin carve while also binging Haunted Hotel on Netflix (SO good)!
🎃 I got my third lobes and helix pierced (sadly, after being denied a tongue piercing due to not having the correct anatomy, but I digress).

And sprinkled all throughout the month were nights playing Phasmophobia, streaming on Twitch, doing fun spooky nail sets, binging Gilmore Girls, and growing my business. I’m blessed.

That being said, I’m ready for November! I’m ready for the Christmas season and twinkle lights and festive music and cozy nights in. ❤️🎄

I finally tackled the chaos under my TV stand — rewired the cords, cleaned, and organized every controller, DVD (yes, I still have those 😅), and game in the lower cabinets.

And wow … instant relief.

It reminded me that you don’t have to wait until January to start “getting your life together.” Start now. Start small. Even one project can make your space — and your mind — feel lighter. 💕

Start the “new year, new me” energy in October. You’ll thank me later. 🫶🏼✨
