I love vision boards, not just because they’re fun (although a night with my girls, snacks, laughs, and creativity will always be a yes 🥹✨), but because visualization actually works.

There’s real science behind it, ya know. When we visualize something consistently, our brain starts treating it as familiar and achievable. It activates the same neural pathways as actually doing the thing — which helps with motivation, confidence, and decision-making. You start noticing opportunities you would’ve otherwise ignored. You move differently. You believe differently.

For me, a vision board isn’t about wishing. It’s about clarity. It’s about getting specific with what I want my life to feel like — how I want to show up, what I want to build, who I want beside me, and how I want to care for myself along the way.

It’s creative. It’s intentional. It’s a little woo-woo, a little science, and a lot of belief and faith. And honestly? It’s one of my favorite ways to remind myself that the future I want isn’t random — it’s something I’m actively creating! 💫🩷

After a 2024 that nearly broke me — losing my two fur babies and being tested in ways I never expected — I chose a word that felt heavy and hopeful all at once. ASCEND. Rise anyway. Keep going!

And this year? I did exactly that.

✨ I got my sweet puppy Maple 🐶
✨ I bought a new car 🚗
✨ I traveled a TON ✈️
✨ We moved into our beautiful new office 🏢
✨ We hired a full-time Growth Coordinator who is absolutely slaying sales and everything else she does
✨ I started to set boundaries (real ones)
✨ I learned to not give so many fucks (the most freeing lesson of all)
✨ I moved through hard moments instead of around them

This year wasn’t just about wins — it was about growth, resilience, and learning.

2025 was the year I rose.

2026 will be the year I continue to rise and rest. Slower. More present. More grounded. STEADY.

Still ascending — just with softer edges and stronger roots.

It’s NOVEMBER [& in typical Holly fashion, I’m sharing this 4 days late 😅]

October flew & it was one heck of a month!

🎃 I brought home my leachianus gecko, Cypress.
👻 I paused to mourn one year since my baby Sage crossed the rainbow bridge. I miss her so much.
🎃 I threw my annual Halloween party, which reminded me how much my life has changed as I had to keep it family only due to so many children being here now! [already shared those photos]
👻 I had a few fun video-game nights, one being my annual soup-and-Luigi’s-Mansion-night with Laura!
🎃 I went out east for pumpkin picking and more fun fall activities with my fav humans. [already shared those photos]
👻 I hosted our annual pumpkin carve while also binging Haunted Hotel on Netflix (SO good)!
🎃 I got my third lobes and helix pierced (sadly, after being denied a tongue piercing due to not having the correct anatomy, but I digress).

And sprinkled all throughout the month were nights playing Phasmophobia, streaming on Twitch, doing fun spooky nail sets, binging Gilmore Girls, and growing my business. I’m blessed.

That being said, I’m ready for November! I’m ready for the Christmas season and twinkle lights and festive music and cozy nights in. ❤️🎄

Before I welcome you without open arms, I have to properly send off September. What a beautiful month it was! Some of my favorite moments:

✨ road trippin’ to White Plains for a reptile expo with Steve
✨ Leveled up meetings in our office + workday fits
✨ A new gaming pc that I’m totally in love with
✨ Launched a Twitch account + have streamed a few times already
✨ A new Mac Mini setup at work [so obsessed it’s crazy]
✨ Celebrated my cousin’s birthday at a gorgeous brewery [soooo many lights!]
✨ Upstate with my best friends for the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival + a fun day at the campground [I got to pet a pig + some goats!]
✨ Allllll the fall vibes in my apartment
✨ And obviously [not fully pictured bc I already dropped photo dumps]: my trips to Nashville + Salem!!!!!!!!

Despite all the fun moments, I learned that I am in desperate need of routines! I just need to get my shit together, so I am very excited to dive back into my planner, set goals for Q4, + finish off 2025 with a BANG. 🔥☺️

Decorate my October monthly spread with me! 🍂✨

FIRST OF ALL, I can’t believe it’s already October. Regardless, a new month means it’s time to set up a fresh monthly spread! One of my favorite planning strategies is to take a few minutes at the start of the month to write down ALL the important things — events, birthdays, bills, and commitments.

That way, when I sit down each week, I can easily transfer those things into my weekly and daily spreads without missing a thing. Late bills? Missed birthdays? NAH. Not with this strategy! 🙌🏼

The stickers and colored pens? That’s just a fun bonus. 🤩💫

It was reeeeaaaally hard choosing only 20 photos from our trip!

It was SO nice getting away with the girlies for a few days. Even with my MacBook in tow and a pending schedule for 11 technicians, I managed to make time to unplug and unwind, and it was JUST what I needed. 😮‍💨

Salem was everything — spooky magic, beautiful architecture, rich history, and the kind of scenery that makes you just .. stop and smile. 🖤 💫

I am already looking forward to the next getaway!

Laura and I are in this huuuge coaching program for the residential cleaning industry, & this week, we are in Nashville at a conference hosted by the program. There are 100s of cleaning company owners in this program & we all flew out to connect & learn from the best of the best. The creator of the program is Debbie Sardone: she owns a $4m+ residential cleaning business & she is AMAZING.

OKAY SO, every year at this retreat, there’s this pin ceremony where we celebrate milestones in our business. We know what pins we’re getting & it’s always so fun. But there’s this one pin - it’s called the “Moving Mountains” pin - & Debbie selects a very few people to receive the pin each year. She makes her decision based the recipients’ advocacy for the program & the cleaning industry in general & for, well, moving mountains I guess?!

ANYWAY, LONG STORY SHORT, a picture of me & Laura popped up on the screen?! We were both like “this HAS to be a mistake.” But no! It wasn’t! We were chosen to receive the pin, alongside two other INCREDIBLE, MOUNTAIN-MOVING women.

Being recognized today was like .. indescribable, honestly. I am honored to have shared a stage today with these industry powerhouses.

My limiting beliefs told me that I’d never be noticed & receive the pin. Reality told me that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. 💫

So let me iterate this to you, if you’re still reading this: keep on keeping on. Gratification isn’t always instant when it comes to hard work, but it feels so dang good when it comes.

Oh, & the program is called Cleaning Business Fundamentals. It has changed my life, & I will continue to advocate for it & this amazing industry. 🩷✨

It’s SEPTEMBER 🍂🍄🧡✨ & I am verrrry overdue for a month marker & photo dump! 😅

I spent the first half of August preparing & renovating our new office space. We spent so many days going to work in our old space & then heading straight to the new office to paint, which was quite the project. Once everything was painted & the carpets were installed, we spent days moving everything in, building furniture, cleaning & setting everything up.

The second half of August went mostly towards working - leads were booming & it got busy! But I had some fun, memorable moments worth noting for my future self:

✨ A day spent in Philly at the Oddities & Curiosities Expo, & the King of Prussia Mall
✨ Treated myself to some goodies, like the Nintendo Switch 2, my Hello Kitty x Razer gaming chair, & my favorite bag ever from Betsy Johnson
✨ Visited a dear friend in her beautiful new apartment in Brooklyn
✨ Watched my fur nephew Shadow for a few days
✨ Had our very first Hustle Haven event called Empower Hour!
✨PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE

I’m definitely feeling a bit “off the wagon,” though, because my routines took a dive out the window & I have basically been living minute by minute. I’m exhausted. I spent most of this weekend laying in bed and rotting. And I’m still tired. But, I plan to end this year with a bang - stricter routines, better meals, more play, a little less work, consistent content creation, time to plan & journal, & [most importantly] delegation.
